The last 27th and 28th of May took place in Marijampoles (Lithuania) the last transnational meeting of the DTS – Dual Teaching System project, co-financed by the EC through the Lifelong Learning Programme, Leonardo da Vinci Transfer of Innovation sub programme and coordinated by HETEL.
During this last transnational meeting the discussion was focused on the results of the test sessions carried out in each project country (Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Lithuania and Spain) to ensure the quality of the training materials addressed to Dual VET teachers, which have been developed during the project. All in all, 50 VET teachers have evaluated the materials and based on these results, the project partners will adapt the materials to ensure their highest quality and usability. The adaptation and translation of the materials are the last activities of the DTS project, which will conclude next September 2015.
The project partners also had the opportunity to visit the Municipality of Marijampoles, where they met several authorities, such as the Mayor, Mr. Vidmantas Brazys, the Vice Mayor, Mrs. Irena Lunskiene and the Director of the Department of Education, Culture and Sport, Mr. Vygandas Dilys, who showed great interest in the results of the project.
